Our Philosophy

As we examine the purposes of psychological assessment, it becomes apparent that assessment does not arise in a social vacuum ... That we have developed techniques for assessing individuals reflects a social and political philosophy which emphasizes the worth of the individual.

Norman Sundberg & L. E. Tyler.  Clinical Psychology: An Introduction to Research and Practice, 1962.

Our office is located in the Village Center at Haile Plantation on the site of the historic Haile-Kanapaha plantation built in 1853.  Today, Haile Village Center represents a new way of living and working known as New Urbanism, which combines the best of traditional neighborhoods of an earlier era with the lifestyle changes and workplace needs of the 21st century.  Learn more about the Village Center and New Urbanism.
